I’m a self-proclaimed tight wad, but I bit the bullet on this countertop ice cream maker and I’m glad I did. There’s no ice and no freezing bowls—just pour your mixture in, set the timer, and about an hour later you’ve got real ice cream, especially good when I’m using fresh milk.
