They are just such fantastic guitars that offer a lot of PUNCH for their price. The big question today, are these still worth it in the 2026 market though now that they are double what they were a decade ago? This particular 1979 Gibson "The Paul" is constructed of Walnut. The 3 piece walnut neck has some interesting figuring and the satin finish is relatively well-maintained.
