Today we are exploring the streets of Mumbai India and discovering a side of india that foreigners don't see and a side of india that the media doesn't show you! It's a part of the giant HOLI Celebration in India that we didn't know even existed until we stumbled upon it happening at night in the local neighborhoods of India. We were witnessing Halika Dahan. The celebration the night before HOLI colour celebration and it was one of the most unique things we came across on our adventures. There were giant fires in the streets where locals were making offerings to the gods and giant statues in the neighborhoods where people were throwing parties and getting drunk!
