M02 Westown Lagoon in Coron Town Proper, Palawan, Philippines

I spent a week at the Mo2 Westown Lagoon Hotel in Coron Town, located in the beautiful Palawan area of the Philippines. There were not a lot of hotel options, but this one was perfect for me. Not too expensive at around $40USD a night for a deluxe room with a pool view. At the airport, there is a shuttle service that will take you to all hotels in the area for a few dollars. This hotel is around 20 to 30 minutes drive from the airport, and it is a beautiful drive. I booked this hotel on Agoda.com which is my go-to website for finding hotels in Asia. Upon check-in, the hotel had overbooked deluxe rooms so they put me in a smaller room however I lobbied for myself and told them to kick a future guest out of their deluxe room since I was already there. After all, I should get what I paid for! The restaurant on site has good food and going in to town is quick - maybe a 10 minute ride on the trike. The hotel can also help you organize tours although I usually use klook.com for my tours.
