Hi guys — in this video I’m trying on an adorable (and honestly hilarious) Halloween costume for my dog Joey: the NACOCO Cowboy Rider dog costume. We’re getting into the spirit, Joey’s costume just came in the mail, and I couldn’t wait to see how it looked in real life. The best part is how it sits on your dog’s back so it really looks like a little rider is “riding” your dog like a horse. I show how it moves when Joey walks and runs, because that’s what matters with dog costumes. This one stays up and doesn’t slide around, and Joey seems really comfortable wearing it. The fit is secured with one paw through the opening plus a small strap around the paw, then Velcro around the neck, chest, and under the belly. I also talk about sizing and quality. Joey is about 45 lbs and wears a medium, and we measured him using the Amazon instructions — it fit perfectly and felt true to size. For the price, the quality is just as good as costumes we’ve bought from places like Petco or Walmart, and it comes in five sizes from extra small to extra large (so it fits a wide range, just not the tiniest or biggest dogs).
