When the Resin Surprised Me… Everything Changed

Hi I'm Wendy from Toonpish, a resin artist and crafter. In tonight’s video, I’m creating an epoxy resin tray for Christmas in gorgeous shifting purples and blues — and sharing the full, honest process from start to finish. I began this piece experimenting with a technique inspired by #danielcooper , but as you’ll see, things didn’t go quite as smoothly as I hoped. I decided to keep that moment in the video so you can see what happened and why it mattered, because these little learning curves are part of the creative journey we all go through. Once I adjusted my approach and brought in some beautiful silk screen details, the tray really came to life. The final result is something I’m genuinely proud of — full of rich colour, depth, and shimmer.
