It’s Monday, so you already know what time it is—new tool releases for TTI brands: Ryobi, Milwaukee, and RIDGID. In this video I run through what just got announced, and I’ll tell you straight up: the Ryobi drop is the one that actually got me excited. Ryobi already has a huge vacuum lineup and their bigger vacs are legit, but this new one is a different kind of interesting because it’s built to be portable and still look like it might have some real power. The highlight is the Ryobi 18V ONE+ GoGo Vac. It’s compact, runs on the 18V platform, and they’re claiming a 6 lb weight, a 16 oz dust bin, up to 4 ft of reach, and onboard storage with attachments like a crevice tool and a pet hair tool. I also talk about how Ryobi used to have some filter placement issues on earlier vacs, and from what I can see here it looks like they’ve spaced/repositioned the filter better on newer releases. Then I jump over to RIDGID, who’s been quiet lately, with a new 18V one-handed recip saw (tool-only MSRP $99, kit $129 with a 2Ah Max Output battery). And for Milwaukee, it’s more category expansion news: new cut-protection sleeves (cut level 4 and 6 options) and more USA-manufactured electrical hand tool sets.
