About This Video

In today’s Bookmas Day 9 video, I’m doing the End Of The Year Book Tag—aka my favorite fun way to look back on everything I read this year and pull out the biggest wins, the biggest letdowns, and all the bookish chaos in between. I go prompt by prompt and talk through things like my most disappointing read, an underdog book that deserved way more love, the book that felt totally overhyped, and which stories surprised me the most. It’s basically a cozy little reading recap, but with very specific categories that make you think about your year differently. I also chat about the characters and relationships that stood out to me—favorite main characters, favorite couples, and the book I literally haven’t stopped thinking about since I finished it. Plus, I hit the practical stats too: longest and shortest book of the year, highest and lowest rated on Goodreads, favorite covers, best adaptation, and the most unique concept I came across. If you want to do the tag with me, I’ve got all the prompts listed so you can use this as your own end-of-year reading wrap up template (especially if you’re a fantasy reader looking for your next can’t-put-down read).
