Behringer Xenyx X1204usb mixer understanding 2-track connections and USB recording

I have had a lot of questions from people that have had trouble recording or just getting the two track input to work on their Xenyx mixer. Hopefully this will clarify some confusion. In order to hear the 2-track input through the speakers you must depress the "2-track/USB to Main" button. When this is depressed you will not be able to record through the USB at all. The 2-track input is also NOT incorporated into the mix (though you can play it through the Main) so input into the 2-track can never be recorded.
