The X100 has no app or connection to a smart phone. The Syma x100 has a 4 point optical avoidance sensoring system. Because of it's small size I suggest keeping it indoors only. If you do fly the syma x100 outside, there has to be zero wind and the avoidance sensors must be off. So the syma x100 has to be in the second rate of speed to shut the avoidance sensors off, or the drone could fly away when flying outdoors.
