The bearings come pre-lubricated with the high quality lube to reduce friction and increased speed. The low contact bearing shields also work to reduce friction while protecting the balls and spacer from dirt and debris, drastically increasing the lifespan of the bearings. The balls are made with heat treated stainless steel making them extra hard for a decreased contact patch and more speed. With an ABEC 9 tolerance, these bearings are no joke! These Magneto bearings are ground to an ABEC 9 tolerance. This is the tightest spec in the industry, resulting in a crazy fast ride! Everything about these bearings are made for speed. The hardened stainless steel balls are heat treated to increase their hardness which reduces friction between the balls and races. The shields are designed to minimize contact which reduces friction even more. All of these factors lead to a super fast, high performance race bearing.
