My first credit card my limit was about $1000 dollars, then after watching some videos and taking coursing on credit, I got about 13 credit cards and got access to a little over 70k in credit before I turned 23 years, I think it was. I had pending limit increase of companies offering me 3x my current limit. 💲Patreon Exclusive💲 https://www.patreon.com/tommybryson 😎Call Me😎: https://bit.ly/30IBr0i 😎Second Channel😎: https://bit.ly/3c4sVPS 👨🏽💻Financial Freedom Course👨🏽💻$100 OFF CODE: LONGTERM Link: https://longtermteam.teachable.com/p/financial-freedom-steps-from-nothing-to-freedom 1. I Did these three things - Responsible for current Debt - Accepted Offers - Then I asked for what I want The goal is simple: - Become picture-perfect of the profile customers that they want - It's not that complicated - It's like when you like someone and you try to do things to please them 2. Responsible with the Current Debt - My goal was to use credit to make me more money - So I would be very responsible with the credit I was giving - I did not borrow more than I could afford to pay off that same month and I always paid on time and never paid any interest The idea is this: - If someone borrows money from you and is paying you on time - Are you going to give them more money - Most likely yes Result in doing this: - My credit score went up as high as 811 - When this happens - You become like a blond girl in a bar, everyone wants to talk to you - So you have options Ps. The only way to maintain credit is to constantly be in debt 3. Accepted Offers - I applied for some credit cards I really wanted - But the majority of my credit cards were offers that I got - And for me personally, that made sense (because the offer was to get a lot of cash and pay no interest for 18 months and I wanted that ) However: - If your goal is to increase your limit on select cards, then you may want to be more selective with the companies you apply to - Don’t apply and hope, you apply and know that if they don’t accept you then it’s a mistake on their end Credit profile: - Good credit score - Good income - You spend money - Not desperate ( credit utility shows this ) Think about this: - Guy is applying for a credit card, so he needs it, you look at his credit and he borrowed a ton of money and still hasn’t paid it - Look desperate - But let's say I apply to Chase Sapphire which I got preapproved for and offered, and I have good credit and don’t owe a lot of money - More likely to approve Ps. These offers we often get, are like hooks, if you're not careful you may get caught 4. I ask - I applied to Discover and got rejected and I called in and asked what happened - They asked me a few questions and boom they accepted me Here is the idea when asking and the reason you give - I want to see if I qualify for a higher limit - Because I have other credit cards with higher limits ( comparing ) - Depositing cash and having the money there ( trust ) - I plan on going on vacation in the future and want access to more cash ( opportunity ) - Then I think I’ll be looking into other credit cards ( fear and threat ) 5. Why I don’t play this game - I decided to be debt-free - I decided I didn’t want to play a game where risk could be me losing everything - I was spending a lot of money ( even though it was money I would have spent anyways – I think that’s a lie we tell ourselves ) * PRO TIP* INFORMATION IS EVERYTHING 💲Patreon Exclusive💲 https://www.patreon.com/tommybryson 👕Merch👕 https://teespring.com/stores/tommybryson ✅2 FREE AUDIOBOOKS✅ https://amzn.to/2Enayo8¬¬¬ 🎁ACORN FREE $5🎁 Link: https://acorns.com/invite/38EYSU ⚡FREE KINDLE UNLIMITED⚡ (traditional reading) Link: https://amzn.to/2VGbxt9 👨🏽💻DISCORD PRIVATE GROUP👨🏽💻 https://discord.gg/EcZEHpA My Camera Gear: https://www.amazon.com/shop/tommybryson ✔ Help Us Reach 600,000 Subscribers: https://goo.gl/0wvm6w 😎All My Social Media😎 Link: https://linktr.ee/tommybryson --- Disclosure & Educational Disclaimer: Some links in this video may be affiliate links, and I may earn a commission.
