Let’s pretend that your phone is a screwdriver, it’s a tool. When you feel bored do you go stare at your screw drives, when you leave the house without it do you worry about not being able to screw something just in case or do you ever worry about what your friends are doing with their screwdrivers. Of course you don’t, If a phone is a tool then why do we worry so much about them. 💲Patreon Exclusive💲 https://www.patreon.com/tommybryson 😎Call Me😎: https://bit.ly/30IBr0i 😎Second Channel😎: https://bit.ly/3c4sVPS 👨🏽💻Financial Freedom Course👨🏽💻$100 OFF CODE: LONGTERM Link: https://longtermteam.teachable.com/p/financial-freedom-steps-from-nothing-to-freedom 1. Downgrading (products ) - The less attractive that something is, and harder to use - The less you are going to want to use it - That’s why when people set their phones on a grayscale, all of a sudden they don’t want to use it (it's not attractive ) So here is my plan - My iPhone 13 Pro cost about $550, and takes from me about 8 hours per day of my life - When you run the numbers, if I were getting paid $20 an hour, I would be spending more than $3,000 a month on my phone - I can't afford that, and not even that it's costing me money, but it costing me time Iphone 13 Pro to Iphone SE 3rd gen 64gb ( the phone cost me $72.09 and new screen cost me dollars $20 in repair parts, all in for about $92 dollars My Goal is simple: less screen size, less attractive. iPad Pro to Kindle Paperwhite: - I often try to read on my iPad - End up getting distracted and never come back to reading - The Kindle cost me $73 dollars Tip: if I save 2 hours in total from these two devices, that’s literally $40 a day I save, and in less than one week I’ve made my money back Application: 2. Replacing ( Activities ) - I know myself and here are my main problems - On my phone, I like using YouTube, Facebook and shopping websites just for look more than often - Choosing to leave my phone out of the equations and be bord is going to be hard but it is something I’m willing to find out When I’m with friends: - I rarely want to use my phone - Or when I’m at church - Same when I’m reading a good book - Working out - Or just learning something new Applicaton: 3. Non-Negotiable - I’ve switched phones about 3 times in the last year and a half, trying to find the perfect phone - This is hopefully going to be my last switch for some time - And here is something that I notice I always keep the apps ( I’ve had an iphone for almost a decade now, and most of these apps I don’t use ) With this new device: - I will not be keeping the apps, but just downloading the ones I need - I will fully block access to all distractions and designate a specific device for entertainment ( like the TV or iPad) * PRO TIP* INFORMATION IS EVERYTHING 💲Patreon Exclusive💲 https://www.patreon.com/tommybryson 👕Merch👕 https://teespring.com/stores/tommybryson ✅2 FREE AUDIOBOOKS✅ https://amzn.to/2Enayo8¬¬¬ 🎁ACORN FREE $5🎁 Link: https://acorns.com/invite/38EYSU ⚡FREE KINDLE UNLIMITED⚡ (traditional reading) Link: https://amzn.to/2VGbxt9 👨🏽💻DISCORD PRIVATE GROUP👨🏽💻 https://discord.gg/EcZEHpA My Camera Gear: https://www.amazon.com/shop/tommybryson ✔ Help Us Reach 600,000 Subscribers: https://goo.gl/0wvm6w 😎All My Social Media😎 Link: https://linktr.ee/tommybryson --- Disclosure & Educational Disclaimer: Some links in this video may be affiliate links, and I may earn a commission.
