Real Vanilla Extract is SO expensive, but I'm going to show you how to make it yourself at home so you can have it on hand when you need it. You can even make smaller batches in pretty containers for giving away as gifts. I've been using my homemade vanilla extract for years, topping up my bottle as needed, same with my vanilla sugar, it's been a staple in my pantry for many years and I simply add more sugar when I start running low and once in a while I add more vanilla beans to the mix.
