How to Disable Auto Video Quality 480p on Youtube and Set HD as Default | Tips, Tricks & Hacks

When you watch YouTube on your phone, tablet or computer, YouTube by default tends to set the resolution quality to low or medium. But it's a lot more enjoyable to be watching in HD 1080p or 4K. You don't want your Youtube quality stuck on 480p. Turn off auto quality and set your preferred YouTube quality permanently. One option is to go in and change the resolution for EACH and EVERY video. A better option though, is do change the GLOBAL setting so that you are always first presented with HD when opening YouTube videos. We need to disable the "Auto Quality" mode. And in this video, I show you how. I demonstrate how to do this on iPhone and Mac, but it works the same for Android and a Windows PC.
