The first thing I noticed is the quality—same high-structure materials, same wide zipper opening style, and honestly, no dupe ever comes close. The lid on the train case feels like a smaller “half” of the classic cosmetic case, but the real difference is that big bottom compartment with elastic straps and enough space to handle larger items. Then I did what I always do: I packed it exactly like my usual setup to see what actually fits. I took everything from one side of my small cosmetic case and tried to replicate the pack in the train case lid. I could tell some larger items were going to eat up space, so I moved those to the bottom compartment and kept the smaller items up top.
