Installing Roof Rack and Cabinets in our VAN BUILD | GMC Savana Van Conversion | Vanlife Van Build

After a 10 hour work day in our previous vlog, we came into day 23 with a smaller workload. In this update we install the roof rack and cabinets in our van build. For the cabinets, we bought second hand Ikea cabinets off of Facebook marketplace. The cabinets we bought were bare bones with no back or top on them. This wasn't a problem because it meant we got to decide how we wanted to finish them up! We decided to go with these cabinets instead of building it all from scratch to save some money during this initial build. With the cabinets and drawers we are building for under the bed storage, we will have more than enough space to pack all our gear! We also spent some time focusing on the roof: touched up the spots where we sprayed primer, installed our roof rack that we bought off Amazon, and then installed our cross bars!
