300hp V8 Buggy | Subaru WRX | Yamaha Side by Side | Offroad Rush Sydney On this day I had the opportunity to to visit OFFROAD RUSH Sydney, a rally car experience to let us normal folk enjoy the fun and experience what it is like to drive a rally car.. Offroad Rush have many packages available, but I chose the complete package, 6 laps in each car and then 2 HOT LAPS with a pro driver at the end. The cars on offer were; Subaru WRX The WRX rally cars are all 2L boxer engines. We have a varying range of models including the original GC8, the bug eye and the blob eye. They run upgraded YXZ gravel rally suspension. The cars are set up with full motorsports Australia compliant 6 point Bond Roll Cage and racing harnesses. They have roughly 250hp with aftermarket ECU. All performance parts are supplied by STI Heaven. Yamaha Side by Side The Yamaha is a 1000cc triple cylinder purpose built side by side (SXS) engine straight from the factory floor of Yamaha Blu Cru. We have two different models at our track, one having a 5 speed sequential stick shift gearbox (three foot pedals, including clutch) and the one being a 5 speed sequential paddle shift (2 foot pedals, no clutch). 4L Quad cam Lexus powered V8 Buggy. The buggy runs a slightly modified 4L quad cam Lexus V8 engine, the engine produces about 300hp on a safe tune for reliability and durability, with a great torque curve that is required for turning those bog Mickey Thompson Off Road Tires.
