In this video I test out the Sima GoDVD! CT-100 Video duplication enhancer with VHS and DVD sources recorded to a Panasonic DMR-ES15 DVD Recorder. I try doing direct dubs via composite video without the Sima and with the Sima and see if DVDs of copy protected content can be recorded on this device. I also investigate what the GoDVD! does to the video blanking interval (VBI) with content encoded with Macrovision, including Closed Captioning information. I have an entire playlist dedicated to devices used for this purpose. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_6HOAybADu5qOo6PXDsLQwX8oPqisUnG 00:00 Intro / Open 00:41 Fair Use 01:13 Sima Products 01:57 Packaging 02:42 Unboxing 03:45 Macrovision 04:45 GoDVD w VHS 05:33 VHS Record Test 06:51 DVD Record Test 08:23 Conclusion My Website https://thriftyav.com Bonus Content & Early Access on Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/ThriftyAV Join this channel to get access to perks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXk859y-iwYfMpHqX1TcRiw/join #Sima #GoDVD #macrovision
