Wondering how to check your child for scoliosis? This video shows you a simple screening you can do at home. It is recommended to start to check your child for scoliosis beginning at age 10 for girls and age 13 for boys. Of course you can check your child for scoliosis before this age since every child grows at a different rate and scoliosis may appear earlier in life. The typical peak of spinal growth is between ages 10-13 for girls and 13-15 for boys.
