You've tested and tested, but nothing. Why is your Kajabi freebie opt-in funnel not working? Q: "I tested the funnel but did not receive an email." A: This is likely because you had tested the funnel previously so the email sequence thinks you're still in it. You'll need to go into Contacts and remove yourself as a Contact before testing the funnel again. Q: "What happens if someone visits my website and opts into the freebie then two months later, they visit the site and want the freebie again?" A: To allow someone to opt into the funnel again, you can add an Unsubscribe Trigger in the last email of a sequence. The trigger will be WHEN "email is sent" THEN "unsubscribe from email sequence" AND choose this email sequence. Q: "The email keeps landing in the spam folder. How can I remedy this?" A: Certain elements of an email could land it in the spam folder. Here are some recommendations: • Avoid all caps: Using all caps in your subject line can trigger spam filters. • Avoid attachments: Getting fancy with attachments like images and GIFs can make your email look fishy and increase the chance of it landing in the spam folder. • Avoid symbols: $, !, * particularly in the subject line. • Avoid spammy words and phrases including: "Free" "Act now" "Click here" "Buy now" "Limited time offer" "Guaranteed" A coaching or consulting business on Kajabi is not just a website.
