This long-distance walking route is the GR 223 of the Senderos de Gran Recorrido network in Spain and it is also used to reach some of the most inaccessible beaches of Menorca. On Episode 1 of the Cami de Cavalls trail covers stages 1-4, starting in Maó(Mahón) and finishing in Cala en Tirant. Stage 1 - Maó(Mahón) to Es Grau Stage 2 - Es Grau to Favàritx Stage 3 - Favàritx to Arenal d'en Castell Stage 4 - Arenal d'en Castell to Cala Tirant Hiking Menorca (Minorca) is one of the absolute best way to explore the island. This is also one of the best thru hikes as it is not too long, and a great way to jump into the fast growing sport. In 5 episodes I will take you around the island to explore some of the most rugged and serene beaches and coastline the Mediterranean has to offer.
