Panda Podium sells a huge variety of bike frames and bike parts from about 30 Chinese brands, including Quick Pro, Aevelo and L-Twoo. Now celebrating its third year, Panda Podium was founded by Joe Whittingham, a British ex-pat who moved to China 15 years ago. I caught up with Joe at Sea Otter, and he gave me a rapid-fire rundown of some of the gravel highlights at Panda Podium. I appreciate Joe's categorizations of "good for the money" and "good full stop." He says Chinese groups like L-Twoo are "good for the money," while the frames and wheels from the likes of Quick Pro and CRW Works are "good full stop."
