Berd Sparrow gravel wheels are crazy light with fabric spokes that do a tremendous job of damping vibration. There is a catch, though - or, should I say, a stretch. -- Metal vs Berd spoke impact test: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-7OMsT5u2s -- Save $50 on your registration for USA Cycling Gravel Nationals with the code TheRide24 at https://gravelnats.usacycling.org/ -- The Ride is supported in 2024 by: Castelli clothing: http://tinyurl.com/43k6pftp Perc Coffee: https://tinyurl.com/etzyekwr (save 15% with code 'ride15') Giro helmets: http://tinyurl.com/72svzzxp Silca maintenance: https://bit.ly/47xxvzj (save 10% with code 'theride') First Endurance nutrition: https://bit.ly/41SDgqq (save 20% with code 'THERIDE') Shimano shoes & glasses: http://tinyurl.com/ye274tep Feedback Sports stands & tools: https://bit.ly/3S9Dq8r -- 0:00 intro 1:34 string spokes 4:12 things I can feel 7:35 wheel comparisons 10:20 rim details 10:59 hub details 12:13 spoke strength 13:34 spoke stretch 14:38 bottom line
