Canyon claims it has the fastest bike in the WorldTour peloton now with this new, fourth generation Aeroad, which features not one but two sets of adjustable drops. The bike comes with standard Classic drops - which you can adjust for width - and then you can buy Aero drops that are, surprise, narrower and aero-er with a longer reach, and which save a claimed 14w at 45kph. In this video, I’ll tell you about more of Canyon’s claims, my experience riding this bike the last couple of weeks with both sets of drops, what I like, what I love, and what makes me bananas about some elements of this highly engineered Canyon design. -- How I make money testing bike on YouTube: https://youtu.be/7FJHIexf88Q -- The Ride is supported in 2024 by: Castelli clothing: http://tinyurl.com/43k6pftp Perc Coffee: https://tinyurl.com/etzyekwr (save 15% with code 'ride15') Giro helmets: http://tinyurl.com/72svzzxp Silca maintenance: https://bit.ly/47xxvzj (save 10% with code 'theride') First Endurance nutrition: https://bit.ly/41SDgqq (save 20% with code 'THERIDE') Shimano shoes & glasses: http://tinyurl.com/ye274tep Feedback Sports stands & tools: https://bit.ly/3S9Dq8r - 0:00 intro 2:02 pro rider history 3:31 Aeroad goals 5:00 aero gains via drops 6:20 fixed stem 7:30 top-end model 8:08 cockpit pros & cons 9:38 Gear Groove 10:32 annoyances 12:13 geo & sizes 12:32 things I dig 14:41 ride impressions 18:02 loves & bothers 19:40 Classic vs Aero drops 21:19 models & prices 22:57 summary l
