New gravel stage race: Rough Rider packs a fresh challenge in the high desert this fall

This fall, TransRockies is launching a brand new three-day gravel stage race called Rough Rider. With short and long courses carefully assembled over months and years working with local riders, Rough Rider will challenge you but the event organizers will cater to you after each stage. Rough Rider is based in Prescott, Arizona - roughly halfway between Phoenix and Flagstaff - where the high elevation desert is warm but not scorching hot in the fall. There are direct flights into Prescott from Los Angeles and Denver, and the Phoenix airport is about 90 miles away. Rough Rider is Oct 30-Nov 1.
