New BMC Kaius goes wider in TWO key ways - California test week

The original BMC Kaius gravel race bike went all in on aerodynamics: You could have whatever width bar you wanted as long as it was 36cm, and the geo was long and low. Despite that, the bike was surprisingly comfortable, although tire clearance was limited. Now, the latest BMC Kaius has jumped on the wider-tire trend with clearance of 52mm (with 6mm of clearance on either side) and has also improved the integrated cockpit by offering three widths and a clever solution for tucking the cables under the bar.
