In 2024, SRAM put forward the best 1x gravel group on the market with its Red XPLR AXS, with huge improvements in braking, system integration and, yes, 13 speeds. Now SRAM is rolling out two more affordable groups with nearly all those same features - SRAM Force XPLR AXS and Rival XPLR AXS. As you might expect, the two new groups weigh more and cost less than red, and don’t have all the features of the top-end. I’ve ridden all three groups, and frankly am excited about what they offer on bikes that don’t cost the earth. -- Want to see what I'm testing and where?
