Will this solve your PCIe power cable problem?

Prawn here with something I discovered thanks to Rick on Lian Li's Discord support team. It's a SATA to PCIe power cable. This is interesting because Corsair's iCue Link system hub (and Lian Li's older TL120 fan controller) need PCIe power in order to function properly. And this can be an issue if you've got a GPU that needs 3 x PCIe power cables and your PSU doesn't then have any spare for your controller. But what if you were that situation and just used this SATA adapter instead? Well, I've tried it with a 9 fan, 1 pump iCue Link fan system setup in the Corsair AIR 5400 and it worked. I cannot of course speak to the long term issues. I also can't test the cable to say whether it's safe. BUT it is a potential solution and a cheap one too.
