Yes Fragile- Exploring Eight Different Pressings

In anticipation of the Analogue Productions Atlantic 75 release of Yes Fragile, I had the opportunity to audition eight different pressings of this iconic album, which I reported on in a special livestream on David Bianco's Safe And Sound Texas Audio Excursion channel. Here I expand a bit on the information and listening sessions gathered for that presentation. Four copies of Fragile made it into the final evaluation, which included: -1971 UK Plum (Mastering engineer unknown) -2006 Analogue Productions (Hoffman/Gray at ATM) -2016 Rhino (Gray at Coherent) -2019 MOFI One Step (Wunderlich at MFSL) All very good to excellent but all sound different.
