Decca has launched a new all analogue vinyl reissue series called Decca Pure Analogue, and this video takes a closer look at the first three titles in the program. Featured releases include: • Stravinsky – The Rite of Spring Sir Georg Solti and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra • Sibelius – Symphonies 5, 7, and Tapiola Sir Colin Davis and the Boston Symphony Orchestra • New Year’s Day Concert in Vienna Vienna Philharmonic, conducted by Willy Boskovsky All three releases are cut from analog tapes, mastered at Emil Berliner Studios by Rainer Maillard and Sidney Meyer, and pressed on 180g vinyl at Pallas in Germany. Packaging across the series features matte gatefold jackets with additional inserts. This video is an overview of the series and production approach, not a sonic evaluation. Individual comparison reviews of each title will follow in the coming weeks. #Decca #PureAnalogue #ClassicalVinyl #VinylReissues #AudiophileRecords #ClassicalMusic #EmilBerlinerStudios #PallasPressing #RiteOfSpring #GeorgSolti #Sibelius #ViennaPhilharmonic #vinylcommunity 00:00 Introduction 01:43 Earlier Attempts At Decca Reissues 03:08 Stravinsky - Rite Of Spring 08:18 Sibelius - Sym 5 and 7, Tapiola 10:37 New Year's Concert In Vienna 11:50 Conclusion
