Eight Great EMI Testament Classical Vinyl Reissues

Today, I have an introduction to the EMI Testament vinyl reissue series, largely drawn from the EMI Columbia and EMI Capitol labels. Featuring some of the greatest artists of the period from 1959-1962, this video will focus on four albums from violinist Leonid Kogan, one from violinist Micheal Rabin, two from Soprano Maria Callas and one from soprano Elizabeth Schwarzkopf. The label features all analog remastering, cut from the original master tapes, and reproductins of the original artwork and labels. Many of these records are extremely expensive in thier original first UK pressings, with the Kogan/Beethoven regularly selling for over $7000.00 for a near-mint copy. The availability is slowly drying up, but a number of these are still available at the original retail price of $34.95 from the audiophile retailers.
