Diana Krall is well known to audiophiles, so it was with great interest that I ordered the new Acoustic Sounds Verve Series release of Diana Krall's The Look Of Love. This new edition was mastered from the original analog tapes by Bernie Grundman, pressed on 180gm vinyl at Quality Record Pressing, and housed in a beautiful high gloss tip on gatefold jacket by Stoughton Printing There were concerning reports of a problem with the tape, mastering or pressing of this edition. In this video I report my findings and talk about the music and sound quality of this release. 00:00 Introduction 01:10 First Impressions 01:43 Some History 02:38 The Music 05:21 Song Selection 06:14 Possible Issues 09:23 Conclusion The Pressing Matters Amazon Affiliate Storefront https://www.amazon.com/shop/thepressingmatters (As an an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases) If you particularly enjoyed this video, please consider a small one time donation to the channel!
