Jethro Tull Benefit, released in 1970, is a compelling album that showcases the band's evolving blend of progressive rock, folk influences, and Ian Anderso'ns distinctive flute playing. The new Analogue Productions reissue of Jethro Tull Benefit, has been mastered from the US and UK master tapes by Matt Luthans at The Mastering Lab, cut on two 45rpm discs pressed on 180gm vinyl at Quality Record Pressings, and housed in a beautiful gatefold jacket by Stoughton Printing. This new edition contains a bonus track that only appeared on th UK release. In this video, I compare it to two US pressings - an original Reprise label copy and the Chrysalis pressing that came later.
