How Green Juju’s Soil Probiotic Transformed Dog Symptoms (New Study Results) takes you behind the scenes of a brand‑new study on one of the most talked‑about gut health products in pet nutrition. In this episode, Billy from Green Juju walks us through the research they conducted with Innovative Pet Lab on Soil, their veggie‑fermented probiotic blend, and what they actually saw in the dogs who took it. We dig into which symptoms improved (think digestion, skin, stool quality, and overall vitality), how those changes were measured, and why this kind of targeted probiotic support can be different from just grabbing any product off the shelf. You’ll come away with a clearer understanding of what Soil is, how it’s made, and how to decide if a focused probiotic like this might belong in your own dog’s holistic health plan. About This Video

In this episode, I’m learning right along with you because Billy from Green Juju came on to walk me through brand-new data on their Soil probiotic—done with Innovative Pet Lab (IPL). I love anecdotal wins, but I’m also a big believer in getting real data when we can, especially when we’re talking about something as “big concept” as rewilding the gut with the kind of microbial diversity dogs and cats evolved with. We talk about why Soil is different from the typical “same three strains in ten products” probiotic problem I’ve been researching lately. Soil is grown from a fermented veggie blend (it started as Bailey’s Blend in Billy’s kitchen), and the point isn’t isolating a few strains—it’s bringing the whole food culture back. In the study (47 dogs, mixed diets from kibble to raw), pet parents reported improvements in frequent infections (91%), panting (84%), flatulence (75%), constipation (74%), lethargy (68%), excessive licking (57%), skin/coat issues (51%), vomiting/diarrhea (47%), and even anxiety (26%). What really stood out to me were the lab markers tied to detox and inflammation. Beta-glucuronidase dropped on average ~55% (70% started normal and 98% finished normal), which matters because high levels can recycle toxins and hormones the liver is trying to eliminate. Calprotectin, a marker associated with intestinal inflammation, also improved—most dogs ended in the normal range, with an average reduction around 28% (excluding a parasite outlier).
