About This Video

In this Japan adventure, we took on a super specific (and honestly hilarious) challenge: eating ONLY 7-Eleven food for 24 hours. From the second we started, it turned into one of those family days where you’re trying new things, reacting in real time, and realizing how much fun you can have doing something as “simple” as grabbing convenience store meals. We hit breakfast, lunch, snack time, and dinner—plus a whole lot of exploring in between—because that’s kind of our thing: turning everyday moments into a full-on adventure. What I loved most is how this challenge pushed us to stay open-minded and flexible. Some foods surprised us, some choices were outside our comfort zone, and we had to roll with whatever we could find. The biggest takeaway for us was gratitude and respect—Japan does convenience store food in a way that’s genuinely impressive, and experiencing that together made it even better. It wasn’t about doing it perfectly; it was about laughing through the chaos, sticking together, and making memories as a family.
