About This Video

In this video I’m sharing 15 things I’m simply not buying in 2025—and it’s not about being restrictive, it’s about being intentional. I wish I’d learned this in my 20s: so many “good ideas” in the moment turn into buyer’s remorse, clutter, and money tied up in pieces that don’t actually support the way I want to dress. My style is classic and Parisian-inspired, and at this point I’d rather have fewer, better pieces that work hard in my wardrobe than a constant stream of impulse purchases. I talk through the mindset shift that helps me avoid impulse buying: pausing before checkout, thinking in outfit formulas, and asking if a piece truly fits my lifestyle and my existing capsule staples. If it doesn’t mix and match easily, if it’s a trend I’m not sure I’ll wear next season, or if I’m buying it just because it’s “new,” I walk away. The goal is to shop smarter, declutter less, and feel confident in what I own—especially over 50, when I want my wardrobe to feel polished, effortless, and completely me.
