“hi I'm Sandra welcome to another episode of copy the look one item three [Music] Styles today we are going to be styling two different white buttonup shirts one more fitted and one more oversized both shirts are from cesan I have the tomb boy here and the max which is the one that I'm wearing right now at first you might think that the white crisp button shirt it's more of a masculine piece more suitable for those formal and corporate environments well today I will prove it that is not true at all and for that I chose two different shirts on purpose they are both white buttonup shirts made of a crisp cotton but they have different designs and does serve different purposes and also different styles as I said these shirts are both from design but of course you don't need to have the exact same shirts as me you can definitely recreate these outfit ideas with your pieces I'm sure you all have a white buttonup shirt I will talk you through and explain which shirt is best for each styling option and of course there are situations where both shirts can definitely work so you will have many styling options as well as a lot of styling tips on how to wear these shirts as usually let's begin with the work wear [Music] outfit if You' ask me which of the two shirts it's the best to do your workware outfits I would say the Tomboy is the one to choose if you want to do these more formal outfits but if you work in a place that has a more relaxed dress code both can work nicely as you're going to see in a minute I'm going to do an outfit with the Tomboy and another one with the max so that you can see some styling options and the main differences between them and let's begin with option number one so the outfit for a more formal environment this is the first option for a workware outfit a more formal one we are already in Spring indeed I'm filming this video on the 20th of March or the first day of spring but to the today we had a tornado with strong winds that uprooted trees well really bad weather conditions but let's just forget that and imagine that this outfit is for a sunny spring day that I really hope will come soon so for this outfit I chose kind of a white base layer so starting with a pair of tail trousers these are in Cotton from goelia last year a relaxed but formal kind of trousers not see through it's a structure fabric amazing quality so this is not sponsored this is just let's say the skeleton of the outfit it's really plain graceless and that's where each one's personal style enters and so you need to add The Styling elements that will make this outfit your own first things first I'm adding a camel belt a very thin camel belt and that will matches the color of my Trench coat so the trench coat that I'm going to wear is this one in silk again from goelia I have this trench coat again since last year let me just place the belt here so it's just the perfect trench coat for a sunny breezy spring day summer day the perfect outer layer kind of a duster coat that you throw on top of your outfit and that will elevate it immediately and it will make for a very very chic outfit no doubt and for shoes I opted for this pair of nude sling bags they are incredibly comfortable the heel is minimum my Milow bag in this smooth sand and there you have it uh I think a nice outfit for a sunny spring day [Music] so this is option two for a smart casual workware outfit for this option I went for the max shirt which is slightly oversized and I'm pairing it with a pair of brown tail trousers these are kind of more straight leg design whenever I wear something more oversized on top I try to uh go less oversized on the bottoms and vice versa this is kind of a balance rule that I always use in this case the max shirt has a lot of volume the shirt tucked inside the trousers would be not flattering it will cause a lot of bulk around the waistline and so I decided to wear it over a dark brown base layer composed by the trousers and a body suit also in the dark brown all brown base layer and then the shirt on top in this case instead of button up the shirt I decided to leave it completely unbutton and crease cross both front parts to kind of reduce a little bit of volume around this area you can choose the color of your base layer according to your preference your personal style according to what you have in your wardrobes also when choosing the color of your belt know that if you choose a white belt this will blend with the the white shirt and if you opt instead for a dark color belt like this one for instance in dark brown it will accentuate the waistline this is kind of a trick that you can definitely use in your benefits as well another thing to take into consideration within this subject is the width of the belt itself a s belt will be more elegant and more classic a large belt like this one will have a modern twist to your classic outfit large belts are on Trend and this is a way of adding a modern fresh touch into your outfits making your classic outfit more updated think in all these considerations when choosing your accessories and go according to your personal style to finish the outfit I went for a pair of dark brown sling bags these ones are from masim Duty basically you have a dark brown basil and the white crisp Shir that is kind of the accent point in this outfit let me just grab a bag and in this case I think I would go for my dark brown suede bag perfect to carry your belongings for your day to go outside depending on the weather you can head a Blazer over this outfit a long wo coat a trench coat and swap the shoes for a pair of ankle boots so lots of options to kind of adapt the this same outfit according to the [Music] [Music] weather this is the casual outfit a very Parisian inspired outfit a basic white shirt in this case is the Tomboy so more fitted perfect to tuck inside your denim jeans a pair of straight leg denim jeans ankle length perfect lens to wear with flat shoes with loafers whatever you wanted in this case I wanted to head a pop of color a pop of red and I chose my josephin balet flats these are from a Portuguese brand amazing quality these shoes are all leather inside outside even the outer sole is leather they are Handmade by local Artisans and they are just perfection to add a bit of warms and a kind of also to add another pop of color I headed my gas part in red that kind of matches the red in my shoes and my Justine basket bag is the perfect piece The Perfect Touch for the Parisian style let me just grab a scarf that kind of repeat the styling detail that I did um just place it in the bag a scarf this one is in Cotton is the gastone scarf from cesan and of course it will tie everything together because it has a pattern with the colors of my outfit also don't forget to roll up your sleeves always try to show a little bit of skin this is more flattering you will also be showing the SE part of your arms and again when you roll up your sleeves this will create this horizontal line align it with your waistline it is also a styling detail that personal stylists use to make outfits more flattering kind of a balanced silhouette in this outfit I opted not to wear a belt I think this outfit has already plenty of details I'm wearing two necklaces layered a really basic outfit but it's a way of styling down a corporate shirt wearing your corporate shirt in a very relaxed way this is a way of taking the most out of our wardrobes wearing our pieces for different occasions and in different the max shirt completely loose I button up all these uh buttons and almost at the waistline and releve the other ones like that completely open to kind of give more movement to the shirt I went for give more interest to the outfit and since you are wearing your shirt completely closed ear you need to roll up your sleeves show a little bit more skin I think I will go with this dark red clutch perfect ear will also brighten up this outfit this is a monochromatic outfit in black and white two neutral colors it's almost like we need some color to give more interest into this outfit you can definitely wear your shirt like that this is a really safe choice of outfit to wear uh for a dinner out or for any other less formal event that you might have it's really easy to recreate also really quickly to dress up you will be ready in a minute really elegant and also very comfortable either the Tomboy a more straight and fit design or the max a more oversized shirt if you are on the market
