It requires a great deal of pressure to turn on, in part because the button is placed to far up on the grip. It hits the web of the hand instead of the palm swell. The grips also add too much width to a double stack pistol. I am a supporter of quality laser grips for firearms, but this model is not my favorite. Crimson Trace makes great quality products, but the design and comfort of the LG-661 are lacking. Verdict: *Not recommended*
