From there I break the tuning down the way I actually hear it: bass, mids, treble, and then the “tech” stuff like staging, imaging, and overall detail. The big question I’m answering is whether the Romantic really earns that name by making vocals and instruments in the middle frequencies feel special, without turning the rest of the sound into an afterthought.
