else the rest of our time and I know it so well yes please [Music] in this river [Music] [Applause] hello welcome to this week's video today I thought I would film a vlog a day-in-the-life it's a weekend so it'd be easier for me to actually filmed in life because I've got more sets of hands around and I just thought it would be interesting for you to see because I get so many questions about how I'm coping and what I'm eating and whatever so I just thought I would put it all into a vlog today for you guys to watch I am currently I'm 22 weeks tomorrow and I am really really big so I'm just about to it is just before 10 o'clock at the moment so I'm just about to do a snack for Oscar and I he is currently playing so I'll show you what he's up to as well and then I will show you what we get up to today so I'm just doing a snack morning snack so Oscar and I and I'm gonna do these evita fruit crunch with some peanut butter and an orange segments [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] we are just about to head to the supermarket and I am quickly trying to write a meal plan I have two really great books actually that I've just got which really helped in pregnancy because they are all one pan roasting roasting 10 recipes so I got this one which is the roasting tin which is meat and fish as well and then I've also got the green roasting tin one I will link these in the description box because they're really great for just coming up with ideas they're really simple it's kind of just throw stuff in a tin you might have to stagger the timing but it's really handy for really quick meals that are nutritious so yes I'm just writing down this little board that we have a quick meal plan before we head to Tesco so we know what to get and then I will take you with us shopping this books that I've recorded I haven't actually put all of them on here yet I need to add some more and you get so many of these little folders so these are the stories and I've just done a little picture for Oscar because obviously he can't read yet he's only two and a half but it helps him know which story so there's six in a seed there's there's a house in mommy's tummy where the wild things are snail in the whale and then all he has to do is turn the pen on and then press this is Max and it will basically be an oilless by the sea I just might have seen max before so in the car it means he can have an audiobook and he can choose or on this side the blue ones these are music so you just use your computer plug in the pen via this little bit here and I'm gonna pass a tune a second baby sorry he wants it now and he can play any song that he wants I just put about a nursery rhymes on here as you can see again with a little picture and he can use the pen and he's pretty confident with the pen now and play music in the car whichever ones he wants so yeah I'm gonna hand it over to him now and this is a great thing to have in the car or in the trolley when you're going shopping or just having your handbag you know if you're out at a restaurant or something where you need them to be entertained but you don't want screen time this is a great option dreaming what's that one the bus one wheels on the bus you're not putting it in your mouth are you [Music] all through that [Music] loving the Saturday morning emptiness of Tesco and we have bagged ourselves a parent and child space yay because that is super useful when you have a huge belly and a toddler so currently in the market for a bath sheet is what I think it's called which is basically a massive towel because our towels at home no longer fit round me so just having a quick look for a huge towel that's about she found [Music] [Applause] [Music] have you found what have you found let me take your hat off that's like I got a seat belt mummy and she can't reach our level we finished in Tesco now and I am exhausted it is it's hard to get your head around the fact that you feel fine because I don't feel sick anymore but if I do actually walk your aunt Isco for therefore might get laid down so we're just heading home now but it makes some lunch you asked us some lunch and then yeah I will go and lay down when Oscar goes for his nap and then we'll go back out this afternoon but yeah it's just you think I'm only 20 I want my twenty two weeks tomorrow and I should just be able to just get on and walk around a supermarket what you want to do okay what do you want for lunch that would you like advocate on toast would you like salmon would you like any eggs okay do you want a nice soup right would you go when we get home we'll be okay so I have just woken up I'm gonna pop him in the cupboard um Oscar is currently you can hear about playing with his chameleon Reader songs very loudly his favorite is wasn't the bus so I asked on my Instagram today I said I was blogging and if there's anything anybody wanted to see and a couple of you asked about nap time and I didn't actually film that but just to recap so Oscar goes down around half past twelve prison app I put him down for his nap which consists of him sitting on the potty in his bedroom we read a story he then gets up from the potty he goes into his bed and I read another story to him and then tuck him in close his shutters and leave and then I go for a nap as well and I've been really lucky enough to have my mom here for the past five weeks she leaves next week so it's meant Sariah she just told me she's bought me cake oh my goodness [Laughter] so that's some cake Nana bought me you can have some in a second I'm just going to finish talking okay so yes I put him down for his nap and I go for a nap Oscar's naps have reduced now from around he was sleeping for around 2 hours so now he sleeps for around an hour to an hour and a half and I sleep two hours so it's been great because I haven't had to wake up when he wakes up I've been able to sleep for as long as I need it to so today my husband came up and got him when he finished his nap but normally my mom would have done so that's been a real huge help it's meant that in the day that I've been able to have like a two-hour nap she will probably tell cuz my face will be creased but anyway so I've just woken up he's already up he's already had his pumpkin pancakes to read snack and he's now wandering around the kitchen because he's just eyes the cake so I'm gonna have a drink now and some cake and then we're just gonna head out let's listen looking not the best weather so anyway we're gonna head out soon but I'll take you with us again I thought I would just clear up the NAP thing because I didn't show you any of that because he sits on the potty for that so I'm not gonna really show that but that's how it works and he's actually really good at going down for his nap not so much always at nighttime which I will mention tonight but um nap times he's really good at going down zooming all over the place upsetting the whale where their ears spitting for making him swim too close to the shore this is the tide slipping away so I've just checked my Instagram again to the hey and lots of you are asking about books for Oscar at the moment now we would normally go to the library every couple of weeks but we haven't been able to do I haven't been able to do that I haven't driven and I don't really like driving now I'm so big and uncomfortable and it's just a risk that I don't want to take so I spent Oscar had a bit of Christmas money left over it was only about thirty pounds and I just went on Amazon and chose some books for him just to refresh because he is just churning through books at home I guess where we're home more and also he's just in this explosion of language at the moment so he is loving reading the chameleon reader pen is really helpful for this because it's meant I can sticker some of the books and he can read them independently so yeah I will show you the little selection of books that I have just recently purchased for him and then I will make sure that I link them all in the description box below if you're interested in any of these books I'll put all the links for them but this one was recommended to me by quite a few of you viewers there's a house inside my mummy which is really great and so it's about an older sibling and understanding what's going on inside then mum there is quite a few that are kind of bit more into the specifics of being pregnant this one's more just about like that mummy gets sick and tired and the baby's growing and so her belly grows so this is a really great option if you're pregnant I'm at the end she has a little baby not a three unfortunately but he is beginning to understand that and he actually really enjoys reading that one and we also have tab Lehman tap which is a Julia Donaldson which is one that we didn't have hand a surprise which is kind of a classic they read this in the early years and schools a lot because it's about counting and animals and fruits and so he really likes that again I thought I had this but it's been misplaced over the years one of those ones that we kind of most teachers have so I bought that one and I got this one which is docked in the snow because Oscars little blanket that he sleeps with is a polar bear called Lumi and we don't actually have any stories about a polar bear so I got that one as well and this one we had from the library a while ago and obviously then we had to give it back but I loved it so much this is about a little girl and her Nana and she tries to capture some joy for her Nana who's lost kind of the joy in her life and it's just really lovely illustrations and just a lovely message about you know but it's bringing happiness through being who you are this is Tim lives here with and Tim helps his mummy and daddy with everything on the farm and so they call him what they call him they call him Pharma Tim being helpful leads to many wonderful adventures with his family it was time for bedtime stories at puddle farm and Tim was reading his favorite book about tractors and cranes so this is Oscars the nest night he's got chicken piscis roast veg and some hummus I always get asked a lot about this board which is from Benedict and Sylvester they gifted us one very kindly and you haven't personalized but it's great for teaching children to lay the table and it has a little initial here and it has a little space for where the glass goes Oscar is a stickler for the glass going in the right place and if you follow me over on Instagram I'm going to be giving has run around the house like a mad thing we've just done our cleanup and now my husband is putting him to bed because I have eaten three portions of dinner and I am massive and exhausted and I think I'm gonna lay down here for a little bit and then I think I will go to bed early so that is the end of today's video I hope you've enjoyed it I hope I managed to film enough traffic back to the day
