He presented the ambitious two-phase plan he and the club put in place when he first arrived in January 2016, with the ultimate aim of leading Luton into the Premier League within eight years. During the webinar, he went on to tell the story of the nine-game battle he faced to save Luton’s Championship status when he returned as manager in May 2020, with a particular focus on the decisive fixture against Blackburn Rovers on the final day of the Covid-interrupted season.
