He has since gone on to manage Blackburn Rovers, Manchester City, Fulham, QPR, Stoke City and Southampton. In this extended interview with The Coaches' Voice, Hughes talks at fascinating length about his entire football career, starting with both spells as a United player, short stays at Barcelona and Bayern Munich, and a return to Old Trafford to great success under Sir Alex Ferguson. He goes on to describe his move into management with his native Wales, which led to a successful spell with Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League.
