This week I’m finally at the point where my backyard shed office is starting to feel like an actual place I can create in—not just a chaotic DIY project zone. In this episode, I’m doing the big “it’s getting real” tasks: laying the flooring, painting, putting up wallpaper, and then starting to build/place furniture so I can see how the space is going to function day-to-day. It’s messy, hands-on, and very much the part where you keep stopping to stare at it like, “Wait… this might actually be cute.” I also start working through the real problem every crochet plushie studio eventually faces: yarn storage. I’m figuring out how to organize my growing yarn collection with a new storage setup, and I’m making choices that balance cozy vibes with practicality (because I’m not trying to live in a Pinterest photo—I’m trying to work). This episode is the progress update before the pretty part: next time I’m adding finishing decor touches and fully organizing, and after that I’ll do a full shed office tour once everything is complete.
