Making Color Mixing Charts for Watercolors and Gouche with Primary Colors

In this video, I'm making colour mixing charts which can be used for either Watercolors or Gouache paints. This is a great tool to have and I would definitely recommend making one of these colour mixing charts. It's a great way to 'know' what colours to mix to get a certain colour without having to waste a lot of paint working it out. You can just pick out the colour you want to make and the information is right there on the chart as to what colours you need to mix to get that colour. This is also a much cheaper way of obtaining lots of different colours without having to buy lots of different tubes of watercolors or gouache paints. You only really need the three primary colours and then you can make lots of colours from these 3 colours. In the video, I'm using the gouache paints to demonstrate how I make my own colour mixing charts and I'm using the 3 primary colours and also the secondary primary colours which are warmer versions of the primary's. This can be done in exactly the same way for watercolors and oil paints. I've just bought an introductory set of gouache paints by Winsor & Newton and they were very inexpensive compared to watercolors. There's 10 tubes with 14ml in each. There's the 2 sets of primary colours plus a deep green, black, zinc white and yellow ochre. It was around £19 on Amazon UK. Well, I hope you enjoyed my video.
