3 Ways to Color a Basic Flower with Prismacolor Colored Pencils

In this video, I'm demonstrating 3 different ways to color a Basic Flower shape with Prismacolor Premier Coloured Pencils. I've had a lot of questions about how to use shading in Coloring Books so I thought I would make some videos with examples of how this can be achieved. I'm giving examples on how to color 3 different shaped petals using shading and blending techniques. Using the same basic flower shape, I'm showing step by step in real time, exactly how to shade the flowers to give form to them and make them look more 3 dimensional rather than just a flat petal shape. I'm using colored pencils for this as I find it a much easier medium to work with than paint. I find you have much more control with colored pencils. The Prismacolor Premier pencils are brilliant for this as they are soft and easily blendable. Also, they are very opaque so are a really good choice for coloring on toned paper as well as white paper so they are a very popular choice for colouring books. Well, I hope you enjoyed my video.
