The Hyperlite 3400 Southwest is minimal by design but I really don’t like that it lacks a hydration bladder, as then you’re forced to carry your water outside the pack, making it susceptible to holes from encounters with low-hanging branches. What I don't care for is that this pack is heavy and lacks versatility mainly in how it wouldn’t be suitable for light and fast trips.
