Travel with me to my immigration interview at the US Consulate after an almost two year wait to be scheduled!! We got married in April 2021, filed our I-130 petition in August 2021, and I was finally scheduled for my green card interview on June 20th 2023. For Canadians, these specific marriage based green card interviews take place at the US Consulate in Montreal, Quebec. So we spent a weekend visiting family and doing a bit of exploring Montreal, including visiting our fave St. Viateur bagel shop, walking the streets of old Montreal, and making two trips to Gibeau Orange Julep! To cap off the video, I share my entire immigration interview experience including every document they asked for and every question they asked during the green card interview. While it was the most anticipated and stressful mornings of my life, I am just so happy it ended with an APPROVAL.
