DIY Candle Making (Reuse an Old Scented Candle) Cute DIY Holiday Gift Idea | Vlogmas Day 8

Happy Vlogmas Day 8!! Just 17 more days until Christmas day, and if you're looking for a cute DIY Holiday gift idea, this video is perfect for you. This was my first DIY candle making experience reusing a broken scented candle, to make a brand new homemade candle. I ended up adding one last special touch by cutting out a vinyl design with my Cricut for the top of the candle lid. I hope you enjoy my first DIY Christmas candle making experience!! IMPORTANT TIPS FOR CANDLE MAKING: - Please don't forget to use gloves when handling broken glass - Always use heat safe containers if you are pouring hot wax into them - Please don't forget to use oven mitts or heat protection when handling & pouring hot wax out of your double boiler - Ensure if you reuse an old scented candle, that the new wax that you mix in is the same kind of wax (Bath & Body Works candles are a blend, so I picked one that was appropriate to mix) - To clean up wax, simply pour boiling water in the containers you use and let cool. Wax will float to the surface and harden in the process. Then use warm soapy water to clean any residue!
