How about a "USB connector" for prosthetics? Events like the Paralympics bring disability to the forefront, but are you aware that the number of amputees worldwide stands at over 10 million? Our latest Trailblazer Oliver Armitage (@cbioaugsystems) has been fascinated by bionics since he was 17 and has developed a medical device that will act as the interface between a patient's amputated stump/soft-tissue or neural systems and their bionic device. His startup Cambridge Bio-Augmentation Systems (http://www.cbas.global) want to make full mobility an accessible reality and will standardise prosthetic connectors to bring this into the mainstream!
